Are you looking for a way to stay active, socialize and make new friends?
Recess leagues are a great way to do all that! These leagues offer casual games on weekends and evenings after work/school. The best part is that many of the teams are intergenerational so you can join with all of your friends/family. No special skills or training is required beyond running around for 60 minutes without passing out from exhaustion!

Recess leagues are multi-sport
Recess leagues are multi-sport which means you get to play different sports almost every week. Sometimes, you can play more than one sport in a day. This helps keep your body in shape, and it keeps things interesting!
We Play Your favorite games from when you were a kid
Your favorite games from when you were a kid are the ones that make recess leagues so much fun. Some of these games are more competitive, some of them are more physical, and some of them even require a skill. Some examples include:
- Kickball
- Dodgeball
- Capture the flag (or whatever you want to call it)
- And more
Visit our games page and text the name of the game you’re interested in to our office number to sign up for notifications regarding future league games.
Intergenerational teams
Recess leagues are a great way to bring together friends and family who may not have played together before. In addition, it’s also a way for you to meet new people who live in your area. If you’re looking for an opportunity to connect with people of all ages, joining a recess league is the perfect option!
Intergenerational teams are also a great way to bring families closer together. Parents who have played some of our classic recess games when they were kids can teach their much younger kids, nieces, nephews, and cousins the strategies they used to win while competing on the SAME team against other families (and their strategies).
We play for fun, not for glory
We are not awarding any D1 Sports Scholarships. The most important thing is that everyone can compete, enjoy themselves, and feel comfortable playing a sport without any pressure. Recess leagues are a more recreational approach to sports. The goal is to have fun, and we play for fun.
Recess leagues are cheap and affordable, especially compared to other adult sports leagues.
Compared to other adult sports leagues, recess leagues are cheap and affordable. You can play for fun, not for glory. You can play to stay active or socialize with friends in an environment that don’t take itself too seriously. This is especially important if you’re new to the world of adult sports leagues: there’s no pressure on you to be competitive or stick with it long-term; all that matters is having fun!
Recreational sports can be a fun way to stay active, socialize and make new friends.
Rec sports are a fun way to stay active and socialize. You can make new friends with the same interests as you or those with different interests. Rec leagues are especially good for kids because they get to be outside and have fun while learning valuable skills like teamwork and getting along with others.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a way to get more active and socialize with friends in your community, then a recess league may be the perfect fit. We have been running recess leagues since September 2022 and have seen people of all ages benefit from joining this exciting new sports trend.
